About Me:

I’m a writer. What do I write? A little of this, a little of that. It’s taken a lot for me to admit that I’m enough of a writer to need this website, but here it is! I’m working on some picture books and a novel. More about them later, I hope!

A little more about me: I’m originally from Fairfield, Connecticut, but now I live in White Lake, Michigan with my spouse, children, and dog. I got my bachelor’s degree from Bard College at Simon’s Rock in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and my master’s degree from Indiana University. I am a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. I’m the managing editor of the Asian Journal for Public Opinion Research. In addition to reading and writing, I like playing the viola da gamba and planting things in the garden (I don’t always like weeding and am well known for neglecting the garden later, but planting makes me happy and eating strawberries, raspberries, and tomatoes as they ripen is also fun).
